BETHANY
JUNIOR COLLEGE
One of the concerns of
the ministry has been that none of the children would have to go
to a secular college in order to get higher education. Much prayer was
lifted to our heavenly Father to ask that the Bethany Bible College
might be inaugurated in time for an entering class in 1996. By God's
grace, a young fifteen year old American who was visiting the ministry
donated fifty dollars he had brought for spending money to start the
college. God has multiplied that gift, and now, the building houses
the Junior College, along with classroom space for Telugu Medium school
students. Student enrollment has increased steadily since that time.
Government accreditation
has been granted, however, there is still a need for special educational
equipment and supplies: There must be an adequate library. Books are
needed in such areas as theology, history, math, science, medicine,
literature, and so forth. Laboratory equipment is also needed to stock
the science labs. One significant goal is to compile a first
rate evangelical theological library which will be an important resource
for missionaries, pastors, students and Christian workers in that part
of the world. To our knowledge, there is very little, if anything, by
way of such a resource in India.
BETHANY
NURSING SCHOOL

In 2005, the government granted
full accreditation for Love-N-Care Ministries to inaugurate a training
program for nurses. This is in keeping with the Lord's leading to create
a modern, technologically advanced medical ministry (see the link to
"Medical Ministries")
BETHANY
DISABLED TRAINING CENTER
One of the needs that is
very prevalent in India is ministry to people with disabilities. Many
severely disabled people are forced to live as beggars, and are stigmatized
by the vast majority of the society. The Lord gave us the call to reach
out such people with spiritual hope and practical help to provide them
with training that would enable them to earn a decent living through
computer training and tailoring training. The administrator of the disabilities
training program is a young man with severe physical disabilities, who
has demonstrated that he "can do all things through Christ..."
