Who:
- Pastor
P. Yesupadam, founder and President of Love-N-Care
Ministries International, was born in Srikakulam, AP, India, in
a family of the untouchable caste. His father was a Christian,
and he chose the name Yesupadam (Jesus' Foot) for his youngest
son. Being a Christian added persecution to the misery of caste,
and caused Yesupadam to turn to communism as a source of hope.

One day a friend invited
him to a Christian meeting, and as the preacher spoke, Yesupadam
saw a vision of Christ on the cross. In a voice audible only to him,
he heard Jesus Christ say, "All this I have done for you. What will
you do for me?" From that day forward, Yesupadam vowed to tell others
about the salvation made possible in Christ until his dying breath.
In 1983 he began a
work that has now grown into an international apostolic ministry
of evangelism, church planting and revival.
Annually he travels from
Visakhapatnam around the world to bring the gospel to the needy and
encouragement to believers.

What:
the Love-N-Care Statements of Faith
and Purpose
- Statement of Faith:
We believe in the fundamental, non-negotiable teachings of the
Christian faith as given in the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word
of God, the Bible, and as expressed in the Apostles' Creed. We
believe that the use of the term "catholic" to describe the
church in the Apostles' Creed refers to the Universal, invisible Church
made up of individuals who, by the Spirit of God, have been born again,
and added to Christ, from every age, race and nation. We believe
that Christ calls His Church to preach the gospel and make disciples
everywhere, teaching believers to live by faith and in obedience to
the Word of God, which is the basis of, and final authority for all
matters of faith and life. We believe that when Jesus Christ is
truly received as Savior and Lord, the new birth that results, consists
in a personal, experiential relationship with the living God
- Statement of Purpose:
- To help the poor and
orphans who are in dire need, by providing food, clothing, shelter
and education, irrespective of caste, creed and religion
- To educate members
spiritually, mentally, socially and to inculcate a sense of self-respect,
service and sacrifice
- To develop slum areas
and tribal areas by providing necessary moral, spiritual and mental
development in order to make people better citizens
- To establish schools,
colleges, libraries, vocational and discipleship training centers
to help underprivileged people by providing free educational facilities,
and to create a sense of self-employment
- To propagate the ideology
of Christ and the principles of true Christian life among people
by establishing model churches and encouraging churches to reach
the unreached for Christ
- To provide free medical
aid and rehabilitation for lepers and destitutes and also economically
backward people
- To initiate and start
new projects like Printing Press, Fabrication Shop, etc., as and
when necessary for the achievement of the objectives of Love-N-Care
Ministries and for the welfare of the poor and helpless.
